Project Type: Investigative Documentaries – primetime public affairs program (format similar to 60 Minutes)

Role: Lead Producer

Before moving into narrative filmmaking, Sasha spent several years producing and directing in-depth investigative documentaries in Russia.

Her work explored:
– misuse of public funds intended for orphan housing and animal shelters
illegal logging/deforestation and environmental destruction
– abuses of power within the hunting and fishing industries
– corruption in the education and healthcare systems

These investigations helped spark official inquiries and brought national attention to overlooked social issues.
